BNZ’s Identity & Access team sit within Cyber Security and we are looking for a Senior Security Analyst to join our team. As a team, we provide critical security controls to protect BNZ and its customers from unauthorised access, along with providing services to all BNZ employees to ensure they have the access needed to do their role.   

The team run a number of specialised Identity tooling such as, Sailpoint’s IdentityIQ, CyberArk Privileged Access Management and HashiCorp Vault.  

This role can be based in either Auckland or Wellington and is a hybrid role with three days in the office per week.

We sat down with our Platform Manager, and they let us know the following about the role).  

What are some of the day to day tasks the person in this role will complete? 

  • Day to day production support. 

  • Act as support for our Senior Security specialists who lead each of our tools.  

  • Grow your knowledge in IAM related subjects. 

  • Support analysts. 

  • Support projects. 

What is the team culture and environment like? 

BNZ’s Identity team, is a highly collaborative team, focused on learning and development.  

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? 

It’s a great learning opportunity for a talented technologist to learn specialised skills in global Cyber security tools.

They were promoted into a specialist role leading our Sailpoint IdentityIQ platform.
