Job Summary

This position will support a project that is evaluating end-of-life options for wind turbine blade composites. Specifically, it applies computer modeling with the CELAVI Python package to quantify and compare recycling options.

Essential Functions

  • Vetting and debugging CELAVI Python code 
  • Designing and running scenarios to evaluate end-of-life options for composites 
  • Analyzing model output data and creating effective visualizations 

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of Master’s Degree in Data science or computer science.  
  • Python, data visualization software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with life cycle assessment and material flow analysis

Physical Demands

  • Typically sitting at a desk/table
  • Typically standing, walking

Location

  • University City – Philadelphia, PA

Additional Information
This position is classified as Non-Exempt, grade F. Compensation for this grade ranges from $14.10 – $21.15 per hour. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
