We are looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our company in one of our projects, in Lisbon.
Tasks:
- Collaborate with teams across RISK to implement data governance best practices;
- Design, create and update key documentation, including data definitions, metrics, guidelines and supporting methodologies;
- Contribute to the definition and creation of the set of tools used by the teams;
- Contribute to the effort to back populate the data governance to existing stock of critical data;
- Oversee, govern, and report the performance of quality of governance in line with data governance principles;
- Provide support in the strategy relating to lifecycle of data and ensure user adherence to data governance standards;
- Assist with the preparation of data governance committees
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk, IT or related field;
- Minimum 3 years of work experience, data or risk related business;
- Computing skills (MS Office tools);
- Strong analytical skills with creative and flexible approach to problems solving;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to produce high quality documentations;
- Self-motivator and able to work with colleagues and stakeholders operating across different regions;
- Delivery focused with keen attention to details;
- Excellent interpersonal and organization skills;
- Exposure to practical issues of data loading, validation, and quality management (desirable);
- Experience of market and counterparty risk (desirable);
- Fluent in English.
