Senior Data Governance Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our company in one of our projects, in Lisbon.

Tasks:

• Collaborate with teams across RISK to implement data governance best practices;
• Design, create and update key documentation, including data definitions, metrics, guidelines and supporting methodologies;
• Contribute to the definition and creation of the set of tools used by the teams;
• Contribute to the effort to back populate the data governance to existing stock of critical data;
• Oversee, govern, and report the performance of quality of governance in line with data governance principles;
• Provide support in the strategy relating to lifecycle of data and ensure user adherence to data governance standards;
• Assist with the preparation of data governance committees

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk, IT or related field;
• Minimum 3 years of work experience, data or risk related business;
• Computing skills (MS Office tools);
• Strong analytical skills with creative and flexible approach to problems solving;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to produce high quality documentations;
• Self-motivator and able to work with colleagues and stakeholders operating across different regions;
• Delivery focused with keen attention to details;
• Excellent interpersonal and organization skills;
• Exposure to practical issues of data loading, validation, and quality management (desirable);
• Experience of market and counterparty risk (desirable);
• Fluent in English.

Work Arrangement: 

• Hybrid (On-site 2 to 3x per week)
